When I'm tired....

What happened if someone is too tired?

For me, when I'm tired, I tend to become clumsy- misplace key, handphone, anything that not attached to my body...

What happened yesterday is quite different...

After "The Therapy" at Johor Jaya, I decided to bring mom for a walk at Jusco and Carefour Tebrau for some window shopping.

When we reach the car park, I found a space which is quite small. So I attempted reverse parking to fit my car in.

Everyone who know me in real life knows that I'm not good at reverse parking.

However, I managed to fit my car in at the first attempt that day.

Then, I stepped on the brake,
the car didn't stop...
I pulled the handbrake and quickly off the car...

But the car is still moving....

Getting nervous, I asked my mom, " why the car won't stop??"

We both started screaming... (while waiting the loud "bang" sound...
)

After one minute....

O.O

No sound....

Looked around...

Only then we realized that the car from both side is reversing at exactly the same rate, t
hus making the illusion that our car is moving....=.=llll

-I don't know if anyone ever experience something like this, but i feel damn stupid screaming together with my mom in the car-

I hope that they are not looking into my car when we are screaming... Luckily dad got the car tinted so hope that they didn't saw our face clearly...=P

How to create a blog?

Since some of my friends have the problem in how to create a blog, here is a simple guideline.

First step
Decide the theme of the blog.
A theme of a blog is very important as it will become the guideline in developing the blog in future. Besides, the blog visitor will know what they expect in their next visit to the blog
As for my blog, its a web journal that I use to write my everyday happenings.

Second step
Decide on the service to use.
There are lots of blogging services provided. Thus, we need to decide which 1 to use
here is the basic list of the blogging services that commonly used by Malaysian blogger.
-Blogger.com-the one I'm using now.
-Xanga.com

-Typepad.com
-Livejournal.com
I recommend blogger.com for beginners as they are more user friendly and suitable for all types of blog. Most important of all, its free.

Third step.
Set up the blog
Just follow the instruction from the service provider . Most of the service provider make this part very easy. The more important part will be selecting the domain for your blog. As for the free blogs, we will get domain as if in....http://..com

The Da vinci

Had been away for quite sometime for this little blog.
Guess what I'm doing recently?
Well, like usual, there goes the lame excuse "busy"..XD
In fact, I'm really busy.

Let me share one of the interesting place I went during this period of time.

"The Da Vinci Exhibition"

Yup...the one at Science Center Singapore.

The moment I enter the main entrance, I notice this small shop doing the
"your own monalisa photo stuff"
I didn't asked, but i guess it's quite expensive...
so I just do it myself when i returned...
And the result is...

Lolx...an evil monalisa....wahahhahaa...Ok...its just for fun...so pardon my poor photoshop skill..

Ok...Get back to the exhibition...

Its very crowded, and the first part into the exhibition hall is the time line of Da Vinci life. Its full with words and first time ever I'm reading the words hanging on the wall.

May be the ticket to the exhibition is too expensive, or is this curiosity?

A little bit of the info that I can recall is that Leonardo Da Vinci didn't receive early education. Since he's left handed, thus all his earlier writings are in mirror condition, because he don't want to smear the ink.
However, some research from outside says that he writes everything in mirror image to avoid his findings from being copied. I wonder which one is true.

Further on to another part of the exhibition is the things created by Leonardo Da Vinci.

Among the earliest things created by Leonardo Da Vinci are the parachute and the flight. A pyramid shaped parachuet which tested to be functioning very well and also a bird pair of bird's wings for the flight. They say he dream to fly like a bird...^^

Leonardo da Vinci is a perfectionist. He want to learn everything and he master it all.

Besides, he also design weapons which is very contradicting to his personal principle at the salary of 100 bucks per month. He was looked down not because he's not talented but because people doesn't believe in him.
I'm amazed at his drawings on human beings and their organs. Extremely detailed and precise.

As a sculptor, he manage to make a bronze horse at a 3 times scale. The horse was said to be very grand and can be seen as if moving although its static. However, the horse is then demolished during a war(forgot which war already).

Below is the photo of his drawing from his notes on how he got to built the large horse. On the other side, you can see his drawings on the human muscles.
Da Vinci also designed an ideal city for human where he thinks that animal should live in the lower level of the building to avoid the spreading of disease from animal to human. Its quite true. We all now get hunted by so many types of disease spread by animals. However, that city is said to be incomplete.

If you ask about the part that I spend most of my time then it would be the part showing the master piece by Da Vinci.

It would be "The last supper" and "Monalisa". I love to see paintings and I'm just enjoying that part so much.

For me, both paintings are too perfect to be judged. But in the eye of Leonardo Da Vinci, there are lots havent been completed. One part of it would be the hand.

They details up every single part of the drawing to be analysed including the correction done by Leonardo Da Vinci during the painting process.

From the infra-red copy of the painting showed below, you can notice that the fingers are relocated.

Besides, they detailed up every single part of the drawing to spot the damage to the drawing due to the environment and age.

Spot the damage done by water at the edge of the left eye.

Other then that, they tried their best to retreive the original colour of the painting. The colour of the painting we can see now is not the actual colour of the painting due to the few layers of ageing varnish.
They also tried to find the material used for this painting. Its said that Da Vinci is using the egg york as the material for this painting. Because a good egg for the painting will make the painting shiny.

And there goes the secret of teh drawing revieled to the public.
Ops... I think I'm off too far to the drawing part. There are too many thing to share on this exhibition. I won't be able to talk about it all.

So if you are interested or you want to know about the secret of the painting, hurry up and visit Singapore Science Center.
The exhibition is until 16th August.
I didn't regret for the money I paid. What about you?

Chaos 2009!!

Well... For archi students in UTM, at every early of academic year, we have an event called Malam silaturahim to celebrate the new students in our course.
This event usually organized by the second year.
For 2009/2010, its named Chaos where we are all suppose to be "CHAOS"

Our batch, "EUREKA:" really did CHAOS.

Lets see how Chaos we all can be? (dressing wise)

The scary version of me.

Like usual, the event starts with prayers and some speech.

Our batch of student comes in only after the prayers...
with the "true" chaos...
The others sitting there was like "WTH" O.O

Next is the fashion show, I love the way they makes their cloth "abnormal"
from the normal one...XP
Very creative I would say...

A short fashion show as part of the event.
Dennis shows his professional skills....
We all stunned...and the next thing we did is shouting!!!

Haha...Joseline with her cosplaying Chaos...
haha...Guess what she's wearing.
I just knew that she can be so scary as well...XP

Edwin with cute with the expression...
"I'm a crazy rabbit"
Have a view at this...Its a once in a lifetime chance.

Camwhore when the event end...
Woah!! LOlo posing

"Bear or life?"XD

As usual, super cute AhLing

Too bad, my camera doesn't function well without flash in low light. Target to get a flash when I have enough money.

EMOing again

I want to shout out loud.
Somewhere at the beach.
To release stress and also to remind myself,
the past had already past.

No matter how strong is my will to stand on my own,
sometimes, I'm weak.
No matter how happy I smile in the middle of the crowd,
there is still tears hidden somewhere beneath my eyeballs.

I think if move in big pace,
I can forget about certain things.
When I walk in big pace,
I pace through the sad things,
don't want to step on any of it.

I tend to forget about sadness
or am I pretending
or cheating myself?
I don't know

I know its there, amidst the paces.
I pace through it,
look up with pride,
and cover it with a fake smile of mine.

Now only I realize that I actually missed a lot of things.
Opportunity, happiness, dream and hope
which I might get only once in my lifetime.
I step through all those.

When I slow down my speed,
I look around...
Its blank with no one around.
I missed them which I accidentally pace through.
Sorry.
I don't understand.
One day I will understand.
And I hope you will understand as well.
