You know why I'm so free to blog right now?
I'm having a 2 weeks holiday right now!
Apart from blogging, all I do is sleeping, online, eating, ohya...and become nanny to bb(my nephew)
-want to see the photos? stay tuned for my next blog post...
Actually, I shouldn't be so free as I need to prepare myself for the internship that coming soon after I return to Johore.
The 3rd semester of the year requires me to find a company to do internship.
I have chosen a company in Singapore and have to work there for the next 2 months.
For the past few months, I had been rushing to and fro Singapore to complete all the procedures for internship, interviews, preparing my portfolio and also finding place to stay in Singapore.
Gosh, it's super tiring as I still have to cop with my study at the same time.
Well, I would say that finding a room to stay in Singapore is very difficult because it's short term rental. The rent is also very expensive, a small HDB common room for two person is about SGD350 per plp. Convert to Malaysian Ringgit is about 800+ for one person. O.O!!!
-The reason why we should never convert the currency. May be this is considered cheap for Singaporean.
Actually, I should worry about this internship because,
1. I have no experience working in Singapore before. People around me keep on brainwash me by telling me reasons why working in Singapore is not a good choice - makes me [a little bit] regret for not accepting the offer from the local company.
-But, if I'm given another chance, I will still make the same decision. =P
(I hope I won't change my mind after the internship)
2. I will be staying with my friend, ChaiWei at Burlington Square at Bencoolen Street.
Hahaha... I wonder if I'm enjoying life or going for internship.
Believe me, that place is super comfy.
(Going to take photo to make everyone jealous..*evil smile*)
The problem is, I still don't know how to go to the office. MRT or bus? @.@!!
3. I don't know what type of task that I need to do for the internship. Afraid that they give me something that I totally have no idea how to do.
What if they call me to do Vectorworks, or Revit? O... save me....
4. What type of attire that I have to wear to the office? Formal?-Yucks...I don't like.... Or semi formal- jeans with some shirts?
-later the boss chase me out of the office..XD
5. People are giving bad remarks whenever I tell them the company's name. Some people tell me that the boss is very particular and bad tempered. I hope he's not.
-and I hope he's not reading my blog.XD
6. I'm super poor now. How am I going to survive the first month in Singapore before I get the pay? Need to pay the rent some more.
-going to beg for money beside the street for the next few days..remember to donate some ya....^^
Haha... Instead of all those worries, I'm actually still thinking how to enjoy my life in Singapore. Food, places, casino, shopping......
Gosh, Noooo.... "Julie, wake up!! You don't have much money to spend in Sg!! You go there to work and gain experience!!"
Its 2.21am now... No wonder my friend edit this photo for me...XD
Ciao~
~love, Julie~
