    I'm searching for a quotation from Dr Lee Kong Chian which goes something like this:

    "If it is unnecessary, even a single cent needs not be spend. If it is necessary, a few hundred dollars is worth spending".

    I remembered this from a documentary shown at "The Legacy of Tan Kah Kee and Lee Kong Chian" Exhibition at National Library in 2008.

    Hope you could enlighten me on the exact words used. Thank you.
